Johnny Rotten grew up in Lyndonville, NY and graduated in Medina
NY.
He is a veteran tattoo artist with ten years of hard-core tattooing
experience under his belt.
Rotten has had an interest in art from a young age. Every Christmas,
his folks gave young Johnny a drawing pad & pencil. Well, it paid off
because he's been creating fantastic artwork ever since.
Rotten has been influenced by many people in his life including: Bob
Tyrell, Paul Booth, Filip Leu, Aaron Bell, and Jeff Sosque, just to name
a few.
His favorite artistic mediums are tattooing (duh), particularly portraits,
and digital art.
He's well respected in the tattooing community because of his
professionalism. Rotten's a guy with integrity - he ain't no mudslinger &
he helps folks when he can.
Additionally, Rotten has gained acclaim and attention in the tattoo
world because of his quality tattooing & artwork. He's admired in many
circles for his use of color, clean lines and shading techniques and he's
got some awards in his shop to prove it.
Rotten's an easy-going guy with a keen sense of humor. This really
comes in handy when you're under the needle. The tattooing time flies
'cause Rotten's always got a story to spin and a joke to tell for you while
he's buzzin' the gun.
Rotten's also got an unexpected philosophical side that shows up when
he talks about his perspective on things. Like when he talks about his
life and how he feels all the events and experiences have lead up to the
point he's at now.
He'll tell you it's not easy owning his own tattoo shop, but in the same
breath he'll tell you he loves tattooing and he wouldn't be living his life
any other way.
After a long day of tattooing, Rotten turns to his motorcycle when he
wants to blow off some steam. Whether it's wrenching or riding - he's
grinning from ear to ear when he's on the scoot.
Rotten also enjoys spending time with his many animals. He's got 3
sugar gliders (cute little buggers), 3 dogs (chips off the old block), 2
snakes (very therapeutic), and a shitload of cats from the
neighborhood. His furry (and scaly) family keeps growing all the time -
he's a sucker for a cute face.
